OK, this is a crappy pix because it was dark out... and I'm guessing whoever took this for me had a few beers- but as I was taking a pix of the 'SJC boys' (Pablo and I met at St Joseph's College in 1987) I realized that technically I should be IN the photo since I was an SJC grad too~ although not really part of the 'boys club' (I was known to most of them as "Paul Butler's girlfriend...)

These guys did college the 'right' way... a strong group of lifelong friends that understand what friendship is all about~ as well as an education when the time allowed :)

Do you know this couple?? I was doing 'Portraits in the Park' on October 13, 2007 when I heard the sound of 'pipes' and clanking cans~ how cool are they??? I had seen the Groom and Best Man (on similar loud bike) roar by an hour earlier- I'm guessing on the way to the wedding....... I love couples who 'dare to be different'!

NH took a step towards equality for same sex couples on 1/1/08- legalizing 'Civil Unions'.... I was honored to photograph THE FIRST church ceremony in NH (as far as we know, so that's the story we're using until someone tells us different!) on January 6th at the UU Church in Concord. Katie & Chris had a 'committment ceremony' almost 25 yrs ago (I'm looking forward to their 25th anniversary celebration in July at Kimball Jenkins!) and have a fantastic relationship- they have two beautiful daughters who were flowergirls for "Mom & Momma's" ceremony... they are now LEGAL SPOUSES- whoo hoo!!!!!

July 14, 2007 Bryan & Marianne Lombardo

It was the last wedding before Jake was diagnosed~ I thought I'd remember it as unique because I was called for a NILMDTS session (at Dartmouth) as I was driving home from the reception (baby Savannah)... I had no clue my life would be totally different by the next time I photographed a wedding (Alex & Boo~ my 'first' after diagnosis...)

Kylie is the beautiful daughter of Bryan & Marianne... and was the most precise petal tossing flower girl I have ever worked with... SO cute!! The Lombardos and their wonderful families were so incredibly sweet and understanding in the delay of processing the wedding images due to my 'disappearance' from the day to day world this summer.

Bryan & Marianne's beautiful girl recently donated her gorgeous hair to 'Locks of Love' to provide wigs for children who have lost their hair. Kylie is my newest hero~ thank you my sweet little friend... you rock :)

Although I specialize in weddings, I do a few Mitzvas a year~ Naomi's was fabulous! I've always been facinated by the culture and history of the Jewish faith~ the amount of work involved in a Mitzvah is unbelievable~ excellent job, Naomi!!

I photographed the final wedding of the 2007 'season' Friday night- with one of the greatest couples I've ever had the pleasure of working with... enjoy Hawaii~ GO SOX!!!!!!!

Tom & Jeanine are SUCH a great couple!! They were refered to me by Mike & Heather Seguin (married in 2004)~ Mike was a groomsman for Tom- and Best Man Zach is marrying Liz this December... I look forward to seeing them all again there! While Tom & Jeanine are enjoying their Honeymoon Cruise I thought I'd give y'all a sneak peek of their photos... we had a great time at 'The Bud Plant'~ my favorite bag piper even joined us! Weddings often turn into 'entertainment' for the area we're photographing in... the 'magic' of weddings is definately contagious~ especially when it's such a gorgeous group of people!

I couldn't help myself ;) Fran & Kevin had a gorgeous day at a very fun location~ called 'The Great Hall' in Fall River MA- it's a renovated church that is STUNNING!!! Very fun day with a very fun couple... I posted '42 for Fran' in the recent wedding section of my site- it's her favorite number :)

August 25th, 2007... after 6weeks of chemo and a summer that was a 'total ripoff' my hero got to jump in the chilly waters at his favorite summertime destination....
